Job Description:

The Idaho Department of Lands is recruiting for an Urban and Community Forestry Program Manager. Primary responsibilities of this position are developing guidelines and standards for implementing and overseeing a statewide community forestry program; providing staff support to the statewide Idaho Lands Resource Coordinating Council; developing state program budgets and priorities; directing city program development to assure compliance with national requirements; setting priorities and authorize funding to communities through administration of targeted grants; providing liaison with private and public forestry programs, and state and federal agencies; managing and supporting a statewide community tree inventory program; creating and managing projects; and developing and presenting technical material relating to urban tree management techniques.
