SUPERIOR GROUNDS & GARDENS, located in Hazel Park, Michigan is a rapidly growing boutique landscape design, installation, and maintenance company with a reputation for delivering innovative design, superior quality, and horticulture centric residential and commercial landscaping services. We are looking for an experienced Landscape Sales Designer to join our growing team to be a key collaborator in taking our organization to the next level. This is a newly added position in our organization, we are looking for a candidate who will develop and establish standard protocols, efficient operations, and long-term sustainability.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual sales goals and company goals
  • Be the face of the company meeting with residential and commercial clients
  • Contact and schedule appointments with our pre-qualified leads to initiate the design and installation process
  • Prepare high-quality, innovative, client-centric, and profitable landscape design plans to scale including planting diagrams, grading, lighting, irrigation, and hardscape
  • Ensure all aspects of the process are conducted efficiently and profitably
  • Produce conceptual design and installation plans, time & materials estimates, and expenses reconciliations
  • Orchestra project plans from conception through installation
  • Complete bidding and construction documents
  • Interact with construction crews as needed to facilitate successful installations
  • Proactively communicate plans, developments, and expectations throughout the design and build process to internal and external partners
  • Complete other tasks and special projects, as assigned.

Essential Experience

  • Experience in landscape design, sales, and/or construction
  • Proficient with computers, Google Sheets, and estimating and CAD software
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Clean driving record
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Take initiative that exceeds expectation and drives profitability
  • Sketchup: 3 years
  • AutoCAD: 3 years

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation from $50,000 - $120,000 (base/commission)
