Position: Landscape Intern/Apprentice

Summary

               Twin Bay Landscaping is a design build firm that specializes in high end residential homes in the greater Grand Traverse Area. We have some extremely talented artisans crafting award winning landscapes. This is a chance to learn new skills and gain knowledge accrued over years of experience. Over half of our company has degrees in horticulture or landscape architecture with prior internship experience. Therefore, we can create a program that makes sense and gives you the experience that are needed to grow as a landscape professional.

 

Internship rotation includes:

  • Site management
  • Planting and transplanting
  • Retaining walls
  • Shoreline preservation and restoration
  • Hardscape installation
  • Irrigation
  • Landscape lighting
  • Light carpentry construction
  • Equipment operation and maintenance
  • Landscape maintenance
  • Masonry
  • Landscape design (if desired)
