About
Mark Wyckoff, interim director of the Land Policy Institute, is an active participant in the MSU Extension Community, Food & Environment Institute, assisting with strategic direction and guiding some of the priority tasks in the Local Government and Land Use workgroups. Wyckoff has committed to providing assistance to Detroit and Flint with urban farming and other open space zoning issues, and outlined a new approach to major state and local stakeholders for long-term land banking in Detroit and Flint. The CFEI workgroup members, trained by Wyckoff, also have significant involvement in the development and delivery of the Placemaking Curriculum and programs of the MIplace Partnership Initiative.
