Since 2009 we've been spreading the goodness of healthy eating with our brand Lady Jane Gourmet Seed Co. We’re now introducing our new brand, Better Option Foods for attracting today’s consumers who are seeking healthy eating options and gravitating toward gluten free and plant based protein food choices. We know many gluten free, plant-based protein foods being offered are not healthy food choices. Not so with us. All our products are formulated with nutrition being top priority. We cater to flexitarians with real, whole food ingredients! Nothing is fortified, no isolates are used. Many of our products are friendly to Vegan, Paleo and Keto dietary choice plans, not because it’s trendy, because by default, our ingredient choices comply with those guidelines. Our niche; hemp seeds. Hemp seeds are a plant based protein that carry 20-amino acids. That's more digestible protein than meet, fish, cheese, eggs and cow's milk. They're abundant in essential fatty acids and numerous vitamins and minerals. Ounce per ounce, you won't find a more nutrient dense food source. Only specific hemp plant varieties produce sweet tasting hemp seeds. We are very aware of this fact and provide only the best tasting hemp seeds!

Not only are we gluten free, and plant based carrying 20-amino acids; we’re conscious about many high allergen ingredients. All products are Soy Free, Nut Free, Whey Free. MOST are Low to no-sugar, Dairy and Corn Free too - but we're not free of TASTE! Whole hemp seeds are an EXCELLENT FOOD for regulating blood sugar and promoting weight loss; the magic… their exceptional nutrition! You’ll taste the difference in our seeds. We have 10 major SKUs with a few more SKUs for size variation. Toasted Hemp Seeds w/ Sea Salt; NO-Salt Toasted Hemp Seeds; Hemp Hearts; Soft and Chewy Protein Bar Mix; SuperSEED Raw Bar Mix; High Protein Pancake and Waffle Mix; Dark Chocolate Protein Brownie Mix; Hemp Flour; Hemp Protein Powder; High Fiber Hemp Protein Powder. Share Size packs of Hemp Hearts and Toasted Hemp Seeds w/ Sea Salt are available for grab 'n go healthy snacking. Food Service can now offer clean eating options with our individual packs (MOQ-applies) that have 10g of plant-based protein per serving with 30g of Hemp Hearts and 37g Toasted Hemp Seeds with Sea Salt; making it simple for Deli Fresh, Cafeterias, Hospitals and Institution to provide shelf-stable, nutrient dense, plant-based options. We can provide 50-LB bulk bags of hemp seeds and hemp powders. Our proprietary blended mixes range from 8 to 10 LB bulk for food service needs.

The company has completed all necessary tests on their products and use the 2016 nutritional values. Their products contain GS1 barcodes. The company currently does not have placement in retail establishments but they distribute by themselves all across Michigan.
