Radical Plants. LLC
Radical Plants. LLC Story
Radical Plants, LLC was created by a vegan mom who was frustrated by the lack of tasty vegan snack options that were also healthy. It is easy to be a junk-food vegan, but a yummy diet that is also nutritious is a little harder to come by. While not dealing with food allergies herself, she saw that others were faced with some of the same choice challenges for other dietary reasons. So, as Melissa was creating recipes for her own family in mind, she tried to incorporate the concerns of her friends who were challenged with dairy, gluten and nut intolerances. Superdip is the first of her solutions that meets all three needs that is available retail.
Radical Plants. LLC Products
Radical Plants was created to provide people with healthy food options with uncompromising flavor. We launched with Superdip- Chipotle Lime, Better Than Ranch, and Basil Alfredo. Superdip is a delicious dip, salad dressing, or sauce that can be enjoyed on just about anything. It is vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, oil-free and made without sugars of any kind. Without any sweetener - and as it is a good source of protein thanks to its non-gmo tofu base- Superdip is both keto and diabetic-friendly. Without the oil or nuts, it is very low calorie- only 25 calories in 2 tablespoons and only zero WW points. Superdip is made without any unnatural preservatives, but has just enough salt and vinegar for us to guarantee a 60 day shelf life. Superdip is produced at our kitchen in Ypsilanti and our tofu is produced in Royal Oak using non-gmo soybeans grown in the thumb.
The company has completed all necessary tests on their products and use the 2016 nutritional values. Their products contain GS1 barcodes. The company currently has placement in a few retail establishments across lower Michigan and self distributes.
