University of Illinois at Chicago - Richner Lab - Postdoctoral Research Position

A postdoctoral research position is available in the lab of Dr. Justin Richner at the University of Illinois at Chicago in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology. The Richner Lab uses mouse models to study basic viral immunology and test novel mRNA vaccines to combat various viruses. The laboratory has ongoing collaborations with internal and external investigators to support multidisciplinary research with expertise in virology, immunology, mRNA vaccine development, and bioinformatics. Currently there are funded projects in the areas of mRNA vaccine development against Dengue virus, SARS-CoV-2, and projects to uncover basic pathogenic mechanisms of SARS-CoV-2.
