NCI Charrette Management and Facilitation™ Certificate Training - Advanced Level

In-House Customized Option

Whether you are planning to run your own charrette or hire a consultant to do it, it is wise to be sure your staff knows what goes on “behind the curtain.” Charrettes are like a creative snowball rolling down a steep hill requiring expert skill and knowledge to guide it to a successful landing. This 1.5-day training delivers a working knowledge of the tools and techniques for managing a multiple-day charrette.

The training tracks the roles, responsibilities and strategies of the charrette manager throughout a multiple-day charrette. Students are provided with a set of invaluable daily task lists for setting up and maintaining the charrette studio and managing the complex charrette production process.

A highlight of the course is the public meeting facilitation boot camp featuring a role-playing exercise in which participants practice their skills in running a contentious public meeting.

Maximum attendance: 32.

NCI Trained Organizations receive a certificate and are listed on our Trained Organizations web page. Individual participants also receive their own certificate and inclusion in our online certificate holder database.
