Kansas State University, Associate Director for Extension Programs. .
Provides programmatic leadership to the core areas of extension programs. Working with an associate program leader and program leader coordinators (PLCs) in agriculture and natural resources, family and consumer sciences, community vitality, and youth development, the Associate Director for Extension Programs, identifies cross program and trans-disciplinary needs and priorities, writes grants and programmatic proposals, develops implementation plans, delivers training, and supports evaluation and impact reporting. The Associate Director for Extension Programs also directly or co-supervises all specialists not associated with a campus department. University of Minnesota Extension Center for Community Vitality is hiring for two new positions. 
While the focus of each position varies, the collective objective of these new Leadership and Civic Engagement positions is to work with tribal leaders and economic development stakeholders to facilitate, implement and teach in areas that support key economic development goals in collaboration with Tribal Economic Development Partnerships and Tribal communities. These positions will partner with native nations to identify priority economic development issues and opportunities; coordinate, co-design and deliver economic development education and technical assistance to all tribes that request assistance; co-design a plan for civic engagement to enhance economic resiliency, and other efforts that will expand inter-tribal work in economic development. This is a multi-year project that aims to set the stage for continued engagement.

University of Illinois Associate Research Scientist, Emerging Contaminants. The Illinois Sustainable Technology Center and the Illinois State Water Survey are seeking an Associate Research Scientist, Emerging Contaminants to plan, conduct, supervise, and formulate collaborations on research on inorganic and organic contaminants, especially focusing on emerging contaminants (e.g., pharmaceuticals and personal care products, per- and poly-fluorinated chemicals, agriculture chemicals (P and N), microplastics, and other contaminants including lead) and excessive nutrients in groundwater, surface water, and wastewater.
