2011 West Michigan summer nursery discussion meetings

Nursery growers are invited to a series of weekly, roundtable discussions with ornamental nursery plant growers and MSU Extension specialists in Ottawa County starting June 16.

Nursery growers who grow herbaceous perennials and woody ornamentals are reminded to participate in the weekly MSU Summer Nursery Discussions that are hosted by Thomas A. Dudek, senior Extension horticulture and marketing educator for MSU Extension in Ottawa County. These meetings will take place starting Thursday, June 16, at 11:00 AM in Conference Room F of the Ottawa County Fillmore Administration Building, 12220 Fillmore St., West Olive.

Attendees share what is occurring at their nursery and also are encouraged to bring in samples of plant problems for diagnosis and sharing with others. We also have special presentations from MSU Extension specialists that share the latest knowledge generated from research that they have conducted on nursery crops.
