2022-23 Forests and Climate Learning Exchange Series: Remote Sensing Technology for Improved Forest Carbon Inventorying

In this webinar, speaker Monika Moskal from the School of Environmental & Forest Sciences at the University of Washington presents "Remote Sensing Technology for Improved Forest Carbon Inventorying".

2022-23 Forests and Climate Learning Exchange Series April presentation titled

Title

Remote Sensing Technology for Improved Forest Carbon Inventorying

Speaker

  • Monika Moskal, Professor, School of Environmental & Forest Sciences, University of Washington

Description

Dr. Monika Moskal will present on her research linking forest and wetland carbon through remote sensing, using methods necessary to analyze hyper-resolution remotely sensed data by exploiting spatial, temporal and spectral domains of the data. She will discuss how this work increases the understanding of multiscale and multidimensional dynamics of landscapes, and aids in forest carbon inventorying.
