2023 Dairy Challenge

MSU National Team awarded second place at the 2023 Dairy Challenge.

Participating coaches and students from MSU.

MSU recently participated in the 2023 Dairy Challenge, held in Saratoga Springs NY. Andrew Neyer, Rachael Bosse, Kelsey Pasch, and Emily Ockerman competed as MSU's National Team, earning runner-up in their division this year. Over 30 teams from across the US and Canada participated in the contest this year. In addition, MSU had 7 students participate in the Dairy Academy. In the Academy, students work with students from other universities along with an industry mentor to develop a presentation for a participating dairy. Over 140 students participated in the Academy.

On the way to NY, students visited 3 dairies, completing an analysis and presentation for one of these dairies.  Students also visited Niagara Falls. The students were coached and advised by Dr. Roger Thomson and Dr. Joe Domecq.
