2023 English Riding Horse Camp Day 4

Campers are having so much fun!

We're almost done with camp!

Horse Farm Map

Campers added their finishing touches to their map and discussed their maps to show what they drew!

English Tack

“Tack” is the equipment that is being ridden or handled, including saddles, girths, stirrup leathers and more! Campers learned how to put the saddles onto a horse and how to guide a horse with the rope.

The digestive system

Up near the parking lot campers drew a digestive track of a horse. They labeled everything and described what each part does.

Trivia sheets

The campers were given word searchers, quizzes and more about horses! It was a fun way to pass the time.

Horse time

They got to ride the horses again! Campers had a blast and it’s their favorite part of the day.

Garden Kitchen

Popsicles to help cool down on a hot summer day!! Yes Please!! It was a refreshing treat for our campers. In the afternoon, they learned how to make cottage cheese Greek dip! It was very garlicy as what the campers told us, but they loved it. They dipped veggies and it was so yummy!

That's a wrap on day 4!
