Shelters, STEAM and more!!

Welcome to Survival Camp!!! 

STEAM- Shelter Building

Campers are to be able to explore important factors and methods of building a survival shelter and to create a shelter out of basic materials using design principles. They will be able to determine the best shelter materials and models to utilize in select environments. If you are stranded in the wilderness, a shelter is one of your first needs. A shelter can keep you warm in the cold and cool if it's very hot and it can protect you from the rain or snow. There are many different styles of shelters that can be used depending on the conditions and
environment in which they are needed and the materials you have on hand. 

Animal Chores

Every camp this summer does animal chores everyday! Whether that be milking our goats, cleaning our duck pen, collecting chicken/duck eggs, and spending time with our rabbits. It teaches campers how to care for farm animals, they absolutely love it!

Flag Painting

Creativity was flowing today with our campers! Each pepper group was able to paint a super cute flag today. They had a blast painting.
