Another fun filled day for our campers & they had so much fun this week.
Animal Chores: Horse grooming & salsa
Campers made treats for Sedona today! It was a mix of carrots, apples, and molasses that they gave her. Once Sedona got her treats, campers groomed Grizz and Sedona!
Poison Dart Frog/ Wrens & Jays/ skit practice
This morning everyone had some down time to play games and even practice their skit they will perform today! They’re resting up for their busy afternoon.
Useful plants with Jared
Did you know that there are so many plants and herbs you can eat, even use for medicine. Farmer Jared taught campers all about those plants!
Garden Kitchen: Kale and apple smoothie
Today’s morning snack was a healthy yummy kale and apple smoothie. Some questioned the color since it was green, but they did really like it! The smoothie and more recipes will be in the booklet they will get during pick up today!
STEAM: Shelter tour
The final day of building shelters in the woods! Campers gave a tour of their shelter to everyone and explained how they built it to protect them from whatever the weather hits them with.
Capture the flag!
A fun game to wrap up the day! It was red pepper vs orange and then yellow vs green peppers. The game did get intense, but it was all fun. After all that running, they got popsicles as a treat!
Skits
The BEST way to end camp is with skits. I love how creative each pepper group gets with showing their parents what they learned this week. It’s so cute.
