4-H community unites to give $7K on Give Green Day

On March 11, Michigan 4-H participated in MSU’s annual day of giving known as Give Green Day, raising support for the 4-H Learning Experience Sponsorship Fund. This fund helps to reduce the cost for Michigan youth to participate in a variety of 4-H learning experiences across the state and nation.
In total, 41 donors gave $6,100 to Michigan 4-H on Give Green Day. Of that, $5,900 benefited the 4-H Learning Experience Sponsorship Fund, surpassing the $5,000 project goal. With an additional $1,350 in university bonuses and matching funds, as well as gifts given to other 4-H funds, a grand total of $7,450 was raised in one day to support 4-H.
