4-H Family Fun Discovery Weekend

The Kettunen Center hosted 4-H Family Fun Discovery Weekend Oct. 5-6 for families interested in seeing what 4-H has to offer.

The Kettunen Center hosted 4-H Family Fun Discovery Weekend Oct. 5-6 for families interested in seeing what 4-H has to offer.  Parents, guardians and youth attended the same sessions focusing on various aspects of 4-H. Youth were able to learn specifics about 4-H projects and life skills through hands-on activities while parents and guardians learned the best ways to connect these hands-on activities and learning while interacting with the youth. A goal of this workshop experience was to help families learn and grow together while exploring the possibilities of 4-H.
