4-H’ers hit their mark at state shoot

The 2013 Michigan 4-H State Shooting Sports Tournament took place Aug. 3. Youth participated in eight events -- BB gun, trap, target archery, 3-D archery, skeet, air rifle, .22 rifle and muzzleloading -- in individual or team competition divisions.
The following teams placed first in their respective divisions:
- St. Clair: 3-D Archery Open 1.
- Kalamazoo: 3-D Archery Sighted 1.
- Muskegon: 3-D Archery Unsighted 1.
- St. Clair: Target Archery Open 1.
- Missaukee: Target Archery Sighted 2.
- St. Clair: Target Archery- Unsighted 3.
- St. Clair: .22 Cal. Field Rifle 1.
- St. Clair: Air Rifle 1.
- Branch: BB Gun Beginner 1.
- Branch: BB Gun Junior 4.
- St. Clair: BB Gun Senior 1.
- Iosco: Muzzleloading Rifle Traditional 1.
- Kent: Skeet 1.
- Kent: Trapshooting 1.
