The Michigan State University Food Literacy and Engagement Poll measures consumer understanding and attitudes to drive discussion on a variety of food topics.
The Michigan State University (MSU) Food Literacy and Engagement Poll reports on consumer knowledge and opinions on food-related issues. Results provide an impartial and authoritative source of public perspectives on food to inform and guide discussion between consumers, scientists, academics and industry.
The poll is conducted biannually (spring and fall). The results are used to foster greater understanding of consumer concerns, give consumers tools to navigate information and misinformation about food, and bridge the gap between experts in agriculture and food, and the public.
The MSU Food Literacy and Engagement Poll was developed by academics and researchers from MSU AgBioResearch. The poll is conducted by Toluna, NA, a leader in online research that manages one of the world’s largest internet-based research panels with more than 4.5 million registered and active users.
