2000’s

Blessing Maumbe (PhD 2001) accepted the position of Executive Dean, Faculty of Commerce at Bindura University of Science Education in Zimbabwe in October 2015.

Pam Riley Miklavcic (MS 1995; PhD 2004) is the Founder and Executive Director of The Davies Project for Mid-Michigan Children in Lansing.

Honglin Wang (PhD 2008) became senior economist at the Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM), Shanghai office, beginning in October 2015.

 

2010’s

Jordan Chamberlin (PhD 2013) left his position as Assistant Professor in AFRE located at the Indaba Agricultural Policy Research Institute (IAPRI) in Lusaka, Zambia, for a position as Spatial Economist with the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, starting August 2015.

Helder Lopes (MS 2010) has been named Vice Minister of Finance of Timor-Leste.

Cem Tekesin (MS expected 2015) has taken a position as Agricultural Business Analyst at the International AgriBusiness Group, LLC, in Farmington Hills, MI.
