Bring your organization to Tollgate for an unforgettable experience

Winter, spring, summer or fall, host your corporate outing at MSU Tollgate Farm and have a ball!

Have you hosted the same corporate party each year? Have you seen attendance plummet? Bring your team to Michigan State University’s Tollgate Farm and Education Center for some seasonal fun on the farm! Having an authentic experience while enjoying the elegance of top-notch catering and family fun activities is our specialty. Whether your group is 50 or 500, we can create a memorable experience that will have the office talking for weeks.

Michigan State University Extension offers the following ideas that can be customized to fit your interests.

  • Spring Fling Breakfast. Forget the traditional holiday party and host a Spring Fling. With the Tollgate gardens in bloom and the new arrival of farm animals, this is a great time of year to try something special. March is maple sugaring season in the Tollgate forest and the sweet nectar is flowing. We can customize a pancake breakfast with a unique tour of the sugarbush where your guests can tap a maple tree and boil the sap to create the tasty treat, maple syrup.
  • Summer Solstice. Summer time can be a great opportunity for a company barbeque, or better yet try an elegant farm-to-table dinner celebration. With the vegetable gardens in bloom, you can enjoy the freshest quality food served right on site.
  • Fall Festival: Our most popular corporate outing, a fall time celebration gives you a chance to enjoy the beauty of the farm while participating in some of the distinctive fall activities. Pumpkin picking, hay rides and farm animals offer unforgettable farm fun. Pair the activities with a barbecue featuring fresh farm fare and your employees will be wowed!
