Michigan State University Extension invites friends to join them Feb. 27 during MSU Extension Day at the Breslin featuring Michigan 4-H. Fans can cheer on the MSU women’s basketball team as they take on the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The event celebrates the people who take part in MSU Extension programs and the impact they make in their communities. Attendance is free for MSU Extension friends, Michigan 4-H members and their families, MSU Extension and 4-H volunteers, as well as MSU Extension professionals. “MSU Extension is making a difference in our state thanks to the thousands of youth, volunteers, partners and professionals who engage in our programming,” said Quentin Tyler, MSU Extension director. “This event is a great way for us to come together with the MSU Extension community for fun and fellowship while also sharing with others what MSU Extension has to offer our state.”

MSU athletics will announce the time of the basketball game about a week prior. Participants are encouraged to show their pride and wear green and white 4-H or MSU Extension apparel. Michigan 4-H will be showcased during the halftime show as a group of 4-H youth will lead the crowd in reciting the 4-H pledge.

Visitors to Breslin Center events must wear a mask and comply with MSU’s COVID-19 event policy, which requires proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR or medically administered test within 72 hours of the game for all guests age 12 and older.
