Corn earworm activity in sweet corn is picking up in western Michigan.

Four corn earworm traps are operated by Michigan State University Extension educators in Michigan. Take a look at the map below to see the total numbers of moths per trap caught over the first week of July 2012.

Numbers on map represent the number of corn earworms caught in the first week of July 2012. Each number is the total number of moths caught in a single trap placed near a sweet corn field.
