Dr. Temple Grandin tours the new group sow housing facility.

In February, the swine staff hosted Dr. Temple Grandin on a tour of the new group sow housing facility, as well as the newly and soon to be renovated boar, breeding, and gilt development areas. Staff enjoyed discussing the benefits and challenges of group sow housing, as well as celebrating superior Yorkshire genetics and discussing how important quality genetics are to humanely, and sustainably raising pork.
