The third week of March was a big week for Entomology awardees! Associate Chairperson and Student Advisor Chris DiFonzo announced that entomology undergrads, Chelsea Rawe and Heather Leach, were two of the six finalists for the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources’ Outstanding Student Leadership Award (an honor in its self) and Chelsea was announced as the winner.
Associate Professor Mike Kaufman reported that Courtney Weatherbee recently won the student paper competition (and $1,000 prize) at the Michigan Mosquito Control Association.
Interim Chairperson Doug Landis attended the Annual CANR Faculty and Staff Recognition Reception where MANY or our current and former colleagues and students were recognized under a variety of categories.
