FoodCorps Michigan Nominated for Governor’s Service Award
FoodCorps Michigan, hosted by CRFS, has been nominated for a 2013 Governor's Service Award.
FoodCorps Michigan, an AmeriCorps program hosted by CRFS, has been selected as a finalist for the 2013 Governor's Service Awards, in the category of Outstanding National Service Program. FoodCorps Michigan members work to help youth create a lasting, healthy relationship with food, through teaching kids about what healthy food is and where it comes from, building and tending school gardens, and bringing high-quality local food into school cafeterias.
