IFLR's Neal Fortin is Chair and Kris DeAngelo will Present at FDLI's "Food and Dietary Supplement Safety and Regulation Conference."

 

The Institute for Food Laws and Regulations Director and Professor, Neal Fortin, is Chair of the Food and Drug Law Institute's upcoming Dietary Supplement Safety and Regulation Conference. The conference takes place in Washington DC on March 23-24, but online registration is also available. 

IFLR's lead instructor, Kris DeAngelo, will present during a session "Food Standards of Identity: Barriers to Innovation or Necessary to Protect Product Identity?" 

Fortin also will introduce the keynote speakers, Mark Moorman Director, Office of Food Safety, CFSAN, FDA, and Sandra Eskin, Deputy Under Secretary, Food Safety, USDA, and moderate their panel discussion.

Among the many topics are FDA and USDA regulatory initiatives, inspections, recalls, food safety technology, PFAS, heavy metals, and emerging and growing product categories such as cell-cultured meat.
