A record number of graduate students completed their degree requirements and graduated this summer. Among them was Abraham Arce.

A record number of graduate students completed their degree requirements and graduated this summer.  Among them was Abraham Arce.  Abraham came to MSU from California State Polytechnic University in Pomona.  He completed his M.S. degree in food science at MSU in the dairy foods area under the guidance of Dr. Ustunol.  He is the first in his family to go to college. Abraham, who is bilingual  (Spanish and English), received the Academic Achievement Graduate Assistantship during his time at MSU.  He graduated with a GPA of 3.92 and is currently employed as a plant manager at McConnell’s Premium Ice Cream plant in California.
