Get ready for the second annual MSU Science Festival

A free festival for lifelong learners of all ages.

What is a Science Festival? The Michian State University (MSU) Science Festival showcases the engaging science engineering and technology ideas taking place across MSU. Pocket protectors are not required – instead it is a celebration of science powered by curiosity, wonder and discovery. Families, children, students and science entuisiasts alike will have fun interacting with MSU scientists, sharing ideas and of course getting their hands dirty playing and engaging in fun science activities.

Because MSU has a vast array of science departments, chances are there will be one topic that interest you and your family. The 2014 Festival will feature science topics from A to Z, literally, from astronomy to human behavior to robotids to zoology. Presentations are designed to not only showcase what is happening at MSU, but also what impact it has on your community, family and on you. The Festival is also an excellent way to show children and young people how fun science can really be. Presentations are designed to excite the mind and inspire lifelong learning for all ages.

Are you interested yet?  All events are free and open to the public.  Hold April 1st through April 6th 2014 on your calendar. Any event of this magnitude requires a lot of people. There are many opportunities for interested volunteers as well. If you are involved in science education and have something to present, there are presenters opportunities posted on the website.

Whether you attend, volunteer or present, Michigan State University Extension hopes to see you at the second annual MSU Science Festival April 1-6, 2014 at Michigan State University.  Get ready to be inspired!
