Green and white Fraser fir

Occasionally, we run into a Fraser fir that has branches turning white. This is great if you’re a Spartan fan. Don’t worry – this is not a pathogen, but a recessive gene that decides to express itself every now and then. If you mark these trees and look at the growth next year, it may be green again.
