How to keep up with current trends in field crops
Stay on of top current trends in field crops by getting the 2012 On-farm Research and Demonstration book by MSU Extension.
Each year, MSU Extension educators and specialists conduct on-farm research. Through the support of the Michigan Soybean Checkoff Program, we are able to compile these data and produce a book for farmers to see what’s new in field crops.
This year, more than 14 educators submitted reports totaling 80 pages of information. Whenever possible, data were analyzed using statistics. The Field Crops Team strives to assist those involved in Michigan agriculture with current,research-based information that is agronomically sound, profitable and environmentally responsible.
Most of the reports are for one year. We want to give the agricultural community the opportunity to evaluate new products, practices and equipment from an unbiased source.
At the end of each report there is contact information for the educator or specialist who conducted the trial. We also note the sponsor who helped fund the research.
So, where can you get one of these books? The 2012 On-farm Research and Demonstration book will be available at the 2012 Michigan Corn and Soybean Research programs:
