Entomology post-docs Christie Bahlai, Ashley Bennett and Aaron Fox are forming a journal discussion club and you are invited to participate. All are welcome to attend, from undergrad to emeritus professor, says Bahlai. “We’ll be keeping it light and informal, and contributors can take turns suggesting the papers we will discuss.”

The first club meeting will be at noon, Wednesday, Sept. 25. The plan is to initially meet in the lunch room on the first floor of the Food Safety and Toxicology building, next to the Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center (GLBRC) offices, at noon on Wednesdays. The inaugural paper will be a short one:

Cooke, Steven. "On the basic-applied continuum in ecology and evolution and a call to action-perspectives of an early career researcher in academia." Ideas in Ecology and Evolution 4 (2011).
