Lauren Cooper participates in this year’s Michigan Association of Conservation Districts, “Linking Across the Miles.”

Lauren Cooper, program director of the MSU FCCP, participated in the annual Michigan Association of Conservation Districts.

Lauren Cooper, program director of the Michigan State University Forest Carbon and Climate Program (MSU FCCP) discussed climate change and forestry with Stephen Hander during the annual Michigan Association of Conservation Districts. Lauren presented on “Forest Carbon 101” and gave a policy overview including fundamental policy mechanisms, the US Climate Alliance, Natural and Working Lands, and carbon neutrality in Michigan.
