Michigan 4-H raises over $8K on Giving Tuesday

On Giving Tuesday the Michigan 4-H community came together to show the power of 4-H.

On Dec. 3, 2024, generous donors and the Michigan 4-H community came together to show the power of 4-H on #GivingTuesday. On the global day of giving, 52 donors gave the gift of 4-H through the Michigan 4-H Foundation, raising a total of $8,112, with $5,480 of that total supporting county 4-H endowments.

County 4-H endowments provide a perpetual source of income for county 4-H programs, where the principal amount remains intact, and the investment income supports annual needs for a county 4-H program. Congratulations to Clinton, Ionia, Sanilac and Wayne counties for each receiving a bonus from a match donor for raising the most during the crowd power fundraiser.

By donating on Giving Tuesday, donors help make the global day of giving an even bigger success. Gifts to 4-H will make life-changing opportunities possible for 4-H youth, both today and well into the future.
