Michigan Chestnut Producers Council to hold 30th annual educational meeting
Register now to join new and experienced growers at the 30th annual Midwest Chestnut Producers Council Membership Meeting, March 13-14, 2020 in Hickory Corners, Michigan.
The 30th annual Midwest Chestnut Producers Council Membership Meeting will again include two days of excellent, grower-curated programming. The event will take place March 13-14, 2020 at the W.K. Kellogg Biological Station, 3700 E Gull Lake Dr Hickory Corners, MI 49060. This multi-day program is an in-depth educational and networking opportunity for producers and includes a social mixer as well as dedicated time for open discussion.
Some topics of interest include grower innovations, chestnut weevil, brown rot, tissue culture and farm transition. This meeting is open to the public and a great opportunity for novices and experienced growers. For more details on the program, visit the registration page and download the agenda.
In addition to educational programming, the Michigan Chestnut Producers Council board will use this opportunity to hold a business meeting and ask that attendees consider serving on the board. The continued success of the Michigan Chestnut Producers Council depends on new and existing members communicating and getting involved.
