Michigan Local Food Council Network Seed Grant Program Request for Proposals

Seed grants can be used for variety of capacity-building activities including, but not limited to, hiring staff or consultants, conducting strategic planning and attending conferences and events. Seed grant funds may not be used for lobbying local, state, or federal elected officials. Competitive proposals will demonstrate a need for capacity-building resources, outline clear objectives and strategies, and show a commitment to diversity and equity in the council’s composition and work.

Proposals are due by 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 17, 2018.

This is the third and likely final round of seed grant funding for local food councils offered by CRFS.  The grant period is six months, from mid-June to mid-December.  For more information, contact Liz Gensler at gensler@msu.edu.
