Michigan Voices' New Storytelling Project

As part of farm bill advocacy work, the National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition is developing a collection of stories from farmers in key states such as Michigan who are most affected by Good Food policy. The goal of this project is to tell stories of the work of farm bill programs and help journalists better cover the issue within the farm bill policy debate.

“It is our hope that these stories will get the real voices of Michigan farmers featured in the media,” said Lindsey Scalera, Grassroots Organizer for Michigan Voices for Good Food Policy. Farmers and others interested in telling their stories can set up an interview to give basic information about their farm or organization and the federal program(s) they have put to use.
