Michigan welcomes volunteers from 12 states

Imagine a place where 4-H volunteers from different states can come together to gain new ideas, share knowledge, learn about personal development and new program development - and to celebrate.

Imagine a place where 4-H volunteers from different states can come together to gain new ideas, share knowledge, learn about personal development and new program development – and to celebrate. Look no further, for a place like that does exist, and it’s coming to Michigan in 2010.

Michigan will host the 2010 North Central Region 4-H Volunteer Forum October 7–12 at the Kellogg Center in East Lansing, Mich. The forum is for 4-H volunteer adult and older teen leaders from 12 states and is intended to equip participants with knowledge and teaching skills they can share back home. Workshop topics will be relevant to participants’ needs and interests and will explore different facets of 4-H programs. Sessions will focus on the national 4-H mission mandates of healthy living; citizenship and science, engineering and technology (SET).
