Monroe County to host first pest and crop management meeting of 2020
Are you looking to get the latest updates for your 2020 field crop season and to socialize with your community after the holidays? If so, the Pest and Crop Management Update in Dundee is the place to be.
Michigan State University Extension is bringing a state-of-the-art event for farmers and agribusinesses in southeast Michigan. On Jan. 3, 2020, from 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., MSU Extension will be hosting the first 2020 Field Crop Pest and Crop Management Update of the year at the Dundee Village Office, 350 W. Monroe St, Dundee, MI 48131.
Since 2019 was a unique year, experts will be covering hot topics from weed control in areas that didn’t get planted in 2019 to government programs available in 2020 (shown below) that will help farmers to make their 2020 crop season decisions.

During the program, you will have the opportunity to connect with other participants in between talks during networking breaks. You will also receive a free copy of the 2020 Weed Control Guide for Field Crops. RUP, CCA and MAEAP phase 1 credits will also be provided at the end of the meeting.
