The Plant Pathology Farm at Michigan State University (3735 N College Rd, Lansing, MI 48910) is hosting a free Hop Research Field Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 13, 2022. Learn how current MSU research projects could apply to your hop operation. The event includes reports on fungicide disease management trials using conventional chemistries and “softer products,” as well as research presentations that focus on viruses, nematodes, insects and brewing.

Attendees will also be able to see hop cultivar differences in plant vigor and cone development, participate in an educational tasting, chat with researchers and discuss how the season is going with other farmers and agricultural suppliers.

More information will be forthcoming as the event approaches. Visit the Michigan State University Extension Hops website for future details.
