Tonya Williams, financial educator with Michigan State University Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) and small business owner, has produced three educational videos to help entrepreneurs understand how they can prepare their businesses for financing and long-term success. The videos are available for free, on-demand through the MSU Extension Product Center’s website.

The three videos include:

Part 1: Startup Basics

An overview of business foundations which include business plans, financing, bookkeeping, business accounts, and their benefits. This session aims to give information to help entrepreneurs gain clarity and direction for newer startups, but also as a refresher for those who are more established.

Part 2: Growth Basics

An overview of personal and business credit for an understanding of what impacts credit, its importance to business, and how to obtain your report and score. This session aims to give information to help entrepreneurs at the beginning of their growth phase, but also as a refresher for those who have had more established growth.

Part 3: Succession Planning

An overview of what it takes to successfully succession plan while defining possible succession planning mistakes and benefits. This session aims to give information to help well-established entrepreneurs think forward for themselves and their businesses.
