The Institute for Food Technologists (IFT) “Food Laws & Regulations Division” focuses on food policy and regulations, and their impact on industry, consumers, and trade. IFLR Director, Neal Fortin, has agreed to chair the division this year. 

The IFT Food Laws and Regulations Division will begin offering travel scholarships for food science students to attend the IFT Expo, to be held in Chicago July 12-15, 2020. A number of other divisions also have travel scholarships. These provide a great opportunity for students to develop their professional connections. IFT additionally offers scholarships for undergraduate and graduate education.
