New Michigan Food Policy Council Task Forces Align with Charter

Late in 2011, the Michigan Food Policy Council formed five task forces to align with its five goals, four of which were adopted directly from the Michigan Good Food Charter.

Late in 2011, the Michigan Food Policy Council formed five task forces to align with its five goals, four of which were adopted directly from the Michigan Good Food Charter. The five task forces are:

· Farmers
· Institutional Purchasing
· Food Businesses
· Food Access
· Statewide Local Food Policy Council Network

Task force participants will consist of council members, state employees and members of the public. All task force meetings are open to the public.
