Register Today for Planning and Zoning Workshops on Rural Water Quality Protection

Space is still available to attend two planning and zoning workshops in June to help rural communities protect water quality. Registration is available online and the cost to attend is only $10. The events are co-hosted by the LPI.

Space is still available to attend two planning and zoning workshops in June to help rural communities protect water quality. Registration is available online and the cost to attend is only $10. Hosted by the LPI’s Planning & Zoning Center and the Flint River Watershed Coalition (FRWC), the Water Quality Protection Workshops for Rural Communities are scheduled on the following dates/times:

  • Tuesday, June 17, 2014, from 6-9pm: Atlas Township Hall, 7386 S. Gale Road, Grand Blanc, MI 48439
  • Thursday, June 19, from 6-9pm: Village of Columbiaville Community Center, 4620 Water St., Columbiaville, MI 48421

Take advantage of the opportunity to learn about the role of the Flint River Watershed in the Saginaw Basin, existing water quality issues and opportunities for local officials to prevent future pollution.
