Many of us continue to work remotely, and our opportunities for in-person trainings and conferences are limited or non-existent due to the pandemic.

If you are looking for a way to stay current during this time period, then NCI has an answer. We are offering a discount for our online-based NCI Charrette System certificate training. From now through Mar. 31, 2021, those who register for this program will enjoy a $90 savings off the regular rate and pay just $695.

This non-credit course provides the same in-depth working knowledge of the NCI Charrette System Certificate Training with an emphasis on design thinking as if you were attending the certificate training in-person. It also offers advanced collaborative innovation processes and is equivalent to the 2.5-day NCI classroom training.

This course will equip participants with a flexible, yet replicable, systematic project management process that can be applied to any type of design or planning project. The best part is it is available for you to access online at your own place and on your own time!

Through this 20-hour training, participants will learn to activate the unique creative potential of all stakeholders by embedding them in the design process to co-create a transformative plan, while saving time and money.

They will also learn how to assess any design project and determine the right type of charrette--a series of meetings to resolve conflicts and map solutions--and its associated scope and budget.

This course is approved by the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for 20 continuing education hours, the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) for 20 certification maintenance credits, and the American Society of Landscape ASLA for 11.50 professional development hours (PDH). ASLA participant members must achieve a 75% grade in the course to receive the 11.50 PDH.

For those thinking about ways to maintain their professional credential, this course will go a long way to meet those requirements.
