Sean Gorman receives 2017 Paul Schmidt Service Award Winner

Since graduating in 1989 from the School of Packaging, Sean has been a devoted and passionate alumnus. As a member of the MSUPAA Board of Directors, Sean has provided tremendous support for the organization through financial donations to support student scholarships as well as the School of Packaging faculty. In addition to his fund-raising efforts, Sean has also made an impact on the School of Packaging by contributing course material for the medical packaging class and serving as a guest lecturer for the distribution dynamics class.  Sean consistently took his passion for Michigan State and the School of Packaging with him to every company he has worked for throughout his career, including Sealed Air, Kimberly-Clark and Sterimed. In addition to several equipment and service donations to the school, Sean also played a key role in enlisting Sterimed to become a gold-level sponsor of the HcPIE 2016 (Healthcare Packaging Immersion Experience).
