Sinha receives USDA–NIFA–AFRI Merit Award

Niharika Sinha received a USDA–NIFA–AFRI Merit Award from the Society for the Study of Reproduction.

Niharika Sinha, a postdoc in Dr. Aritro Sen's lab, received a USDA–NIFA–AFRI Merit Award from the Society for the Study of Reproduction (SSR) for her abstract titled "Developmental programming: Prenatal testosterone-induced epigenetic modulation and its effect on gene expression in sheep ovary" that she will be presenting in the upcoming Annual SSR meeting (July 18-21st) at San Jose, CA. 

"The USDA–NIFA–AFRI Merit Awards recognize research that most benefits or enhances scientific understanding of reproduction in agriculturally important species. Funding is provided by USDA–NIFA–AFRI...The abstract must be based on work performed primarily by the candidate for the award (presenter) and must relate to the goal of benefiting or enhancing our understanding of reproduction in agriculturally important species." https://www.ssr.org/awards-scholarships/grants-awards/trainee-merit
