The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (CANR) community had another successful Giving Tuesday on Nov. 30, 2021, with more than $15,000 raised for various projects and programs representing the college, AgBioResearch and MSU Extension. Thank you to all who participated and helped to promote Giving Tuesday!

More than $7,700 was raised for the CANR Dean’s Strategic Initiatives Fund. These gifts will continue to allow the college to support student success by ensuring we have the resources needed to aid students in times of crisis and hardship, address essential funding needs college wide, and to react to emergencies exceptionally quickly.

Similarly, our 4-H community came together by giving to county 4-H endowments and other 4-H funds raising a total of $5,550 online on Giving Tuesday. These gifts help grow and support our youngest Spartans – 4-H members – providing 4-H opportunities for youth both today and well into the future.

Other participating projects included:

Together, gifts to these projects, and other CANR funds, help make us a better and stronger college for generations of Spartans to come. Thank you again for all that you do for our students, the college and Michigan State University.
