State of Michigan Awards Grant to Tri-County Prosperity Region for 2015

The Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget has awarded grant dollars to Prosperity Region 7--composed of Ingham, Eaton and Clinton counties--for the second year of Gov. Snyder's Regional Prosperity Initiative.
Lansing--The six organizations of the Greater Lansing Regional Prosperity Initiative (GLRPI)--Capital Area Michigan Works!, Lansing Economic Area Partnership (LEAP, Inc.), Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, Lansing Community College, Michigan State University (including the Land Policy Institute) and the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission (TCRPC)--were elated to receive a $228,750 Regional Collaboration Grant from the State of Michigan. With this grant, they will complete the work started in 2014 to promote regional growth and prosperity with grant-funded planning and development projects. The renewed grant will enable community leaders to continue to grow their partnership.
