The Construction Management (CM) program in the School of Planning, Design & Construction (SPDC) at Michigan State University (MSU) invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position, with an expected start date of August 16, 2022. This position is an academic year (9-month) appointment.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach core construction management courses with a focus on real estate, and will demonstrate actual or potential scholarly research activity that advances the interdisciplinary focus of SPDC. We are especially seeking candidates who have the potential to develop a strong interdisciplinary research program with external funding in one or more of the following areas: real estate research, land development, project investment and finance, sustainable housing, real estate markets, smart and connected communities, urban economics and data analytics, disaster management, and resilient infrastructures and their impact on/from construction project management. The candidate will also engage in appropriate service at the department, college, university and community level.

The successful candidate will be part of the newly launched online Graduate Certificate Programs of the School and contribute to collaboration with the College of Business in the real estate field.
